Ladies & Gentlemen: The Print Editions

What it was:

Ladies & Gentlemen is/was an all-encompassing arts magazine that started back in 2003. The magazine was roughly 12 inches wide and 12 inches high. It is no coincidence that these measurements closely resembled those of an album. The outside cover was screenprinted. Inside this cover was a 24-page booklet containing words, drawings, and pictures incorporating a wide assortment of genres and topics. The cover also housed a 12” record containing exclusive music from six different bands generally involved in the booklet that accompanied it. Each issue was hand-assembled, signed, and numbered in an edition of 1000.

Who it was:

Editor: Erik Westra
Designers: Michael Byzewski & Dan Ibarra of Aesthetic Apparatus
Man Friday: Dave Ewald
